The Taurus TX 22 Compact 22 LR with Riton Optic is a compact rimfire pistol chambered in 22 LR. It features a polymer frame, aluminum slide, and comes with a Riton optic pre-installed. This configuration is ideal for training, plinking, and those looking for a lightweight, easy-to-shoot 22 LR pistol.

Compact Design with Riton Optic

The Taurus TX 22 Compact combines a lightweight design with a compact frame size, making it easy to handle and carry. The 3.60" barrel and overall length of 6.70" make it suitable for both range use and concealed carry. The included Riton optic enhances accuracy and target acquisition, while the drift adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight with white dot provide additional aiming options.

High-Capacity Rimfire Performance

With a 13-round capacity, the Taurus TX 22 Compact offers more rounds than many other 22 LR pistols. The single-action-only (SAO) action and Taurus performance trigger ensure a smooth and consistent trigger pull. The twist rate of 1:10 in RH twist optimizes bullet stabilization for improved accuracy. Two magazines are included, allowing for extended shooting sessions without frequent reloading.

Safety and Durability Features

The Taurus TX 22 Compact includes multiple safety features, such as a manual safety, striker block, and trigger safety. The hard anodized black finish on the slide adds durability and resistance to wear. The polymer frame contributes to the pistol's light weight of 16.50 oz when unloaded, making it comfortable for extended use.

Ordering and FFL Transfer

All firearms purchased online require shipment to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer. Before ordering, ensure your local FFL dealer can receive the firearm and check your state's regulations regarding 22 LR pistols. The Taurus TX 22 Compact with Riton Optic is a popular choice for those looking to improve their shooting skills with an affordable and reliable rimfire pistol.
