The Raging Hunter is Taurus’ premier big bore hunting magnum designed to shoot the heaviest loads on the market. The revolver features a target crown on the barrel along with an optic-ready Picatinny rail to maximize accuracy and precision for ensuring the most ethical shots when hunting large game. For added shooting comfort, the Raging hunter also includes custom barrel ports, a cushioned grip and an unfluted cylinder for increased weight to help offset the heavy recoil when firing. The revolver also features Taurus’ double lock system to keep the cylinder secure when firing and is paired with a trigger bar safety to prevent misfires in the event that a severe drop or bump causes the hammer to drop without pulling the trigger.

Newly introduced by popular demand, the Raging Hunter now comes chambered in the legendary .500 Magnum cartridge. This model features an all-black finish, an 8.37-inch barrel and a 5-shot cylinder.
